7) Storing Your First Scan

Enabling cloud storage in 3DICOM allows you to securely store and access your DICOM series for up to a year, beyond the default 7-day limit. Here’s how to turn on cloud storage for your files:

Step 1: Access “All Files”

After logging in, navigate to the “All Files” section. This is where you’ll find all the DICOM files you’ve uploaded or those shared with you.

Step 2: Toggle Cloud Storage

• Next to each DICOM series, you’ll see an option to enable cloud storage.
• Simply click the cloud icon or storage toggle button.

Step 3: Confirm

Follow the prompts to confirm that you want to store this DICOM series in the cloud. This will secure your files and extend their availability for up to a year.

Step 4: Manage Your Cloud Storage

You can manage or disable cloud storage at any time by revisiting the All Files section and turning off the cloud storage option for specific series if no longer needed.
