Whether you’ve received a new card, changed banks, or need to update billing details, this guide walks you through the simple steps to update your payment method securely in your 3DICOM account and remove any outdated credit card details.

How to Update Your Default Payment Method

purple icon1. Log into your 3DICOM account. You will be automatically directed to the dashboard.

How to Remove an Old Payment Method

Because an active 3DICOM subscription requires a valid payment method, you can only safely remove an existing payment method after adding a new one.

Once you’ve added a new default payment method (as per the instructions above(, the process is as simple as follows:

purple icon1. Click the three-dot icon on the original payment method you want to remove and select ‘Delete’.

Where Your Default Payment Method is Used

In 3DICOM, your default payment method is automatically used across several parts of the 3DICOM platform to make sure your access and services continue without interruption.

Once updated, your new card details will apply to all active and future transactions linked to your 3DICOM account, including:

  • Subscription payments — recurring charges for your 3DICOM plan (Patient, MD, or EDU).
  • Purchasing 3DICOM Credits — one-off transactions to top up your credit balance.

3DICOM Credits are then used to pay for other advanced features within the platform, such as:

  • AI segmentation and analysis (via Integrated AI Tools)
  • Cloud storage upgrades
  • Secure Sharing of scans

You can update or remove your default card at any time by using the instructions provided on this page. Any updates will apply to all future subscription renewals and credit purchases.
