3Dicom Patient v3.3.0 is a lightweight yet powerful DICOM viewer for anatomical education and visualisation using Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine (DICOM) images.

Working on

• iOS devices such as iPhone and iPad, and
• Virtual Reality (VR) on Oculus Quest 2,

The software loads:

• Computed Tomography (CT),
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI),
• Cone-beam Computed Tomography (CBCT), and
• Positron Emitting Tomography (PET) scans.

3Dicom Patient has been under continual development since 2019 and operates on a subscription model to enable the ongoing development of an affordable DICOM viewer that can be used globally for research, training and educational purposes to empower patients and students.

The application is unique in that it puts 3D visualisation first compared to other DICOM viewers which focus on the traditional 2D views or multi-planar reconstruction and offer 3D viewing as an add-on.

Our Volumetric Rendering algorithm to convert 2D images into 3D has been optimised to allow the rendering on your own device for faster performance, lower wait times compared to server-based rendering, and enhanced security as the DCM images don’t leave your device.
