Changing Language Settings in 3DICOM

3DICOM offers multiple language options, allowing users to navigate the platform in the language they’re most comfortable with. This guide explains how to update your language settings across the 3DICOM ecosystem — including the Portal, Viewer, and Mobile App — and lists all currently supported languages.

How to Set Your Language

Language preferences can be configured in the 3DICOM Dashboard and Viewer.

The 3DICOM Mobile app uses your device’s default language settings.

From the Dashboard

Follow the steps below to change your language preference from the 3DICOM Dashboard.

2. Click the globe icon located in the bottom right corner of the screen.

3. Click the current language label (e.g., ‘English, United States’).

4. Choose from the list of supported languages to change your language preference.

Your dashboard will now be displayed in the selected language.

This language selection will also apply automatically to the Graphical Viewer when it is next opened.

From the Graphical Viewer

Follow the steps below to change your language preference from the Graphical Viewer.

2. Open a scan of your choice in the Graphical Viewer.

3. Click the settings cog icon located top right of the viewer interface to open the Settings drop-down menu.

4. At the bottom of the menu, click the Language drop-down to see the complete list of available languages.

5. Select your preferred language to apply it.

The Graphical Viewer will now be displayed in the selected language.

The selected language will also apply to the dashboard when it is next opened or refreshed.

Supported Languages

The 3DICOM platform supports multiple language options. However, some translations are still in the process of being added.

When a language is set in either the Dashboard or the Graphical Viewer, it will also apply to the other the next time it is opened or refreshed.

Follow the steps below to change your language preference from the 3DICOM Dashboard.

While translations are still being added, the Clinical Viewer is only available in English and Spanish.

2. Open a scan of your choice using the Clinical Viewer.

3. Click the settings cog icon located top right of the viewer interface to open the settings drop-down.

4. Select ‘Preferences’ to open the User Preferences dialog box.

5. At the top left of the dialogue box, click the Language drop-down to see the complete list of available languages.

6. Select your preferred language, and hit ‘Save’ to apply it.

The Clinical Viewer will now refresh and display your selected language.

Language settings applied to the Clinical Viewer are independent and will not apply to the Dashboard or the Graphical Viewer.
