3DICOM makes it simple to share a secure copy of your DICOM scans with just an email.

This guide explains how to share scans directly from the 3DICOM Viewer, Dashboard, or Mobile App, and includes several FAQs for additional guidance.

2. Find the DICOM scan you want to share in the Recent Activity table and under the Actions column, click the ‘three dots’ to open a drop-down menu.

Adding additional recipients allows you to share a scan with multiple people at once.

Before you click Share, ensure you’ve confirmed the email addresses you’re sharing with are correct to avoid sharing with the wrong person.

If needed, recipients can be removed easily by clicking the ‘x’ icon to the right.

5. When you’re ready, click the ‘Share’ button to complete the process.

Once the scan has been shared you will see a success notification at the top of the screen.

Recipients will receive an email notification, and the scan will be automatically added to their 3DICOM account. Either right away (for existing users) or after they create an account (for new users).

Via the Graphical Viewer

The Study folder is always located directly under the main (Patient) folder for each record, as highlighted above.

There are two quick and easy ways to share a DICOM scan from the 3DICOM mobile app, directly from the Welcome screen or from an open scan.

Instructions on how to share a DICOM scan from both areas are provided below.

The हाल की गतिविधि table lists DICOM scans you’ve recently opened, uploaded, or received. It’s one of the quickest places to access and share scans, as it appears on both the डैशबोर्ड और यह अपलोड करें और देखें पृष्ठ.

5. Type the recipient’s email into the input field.  

6.  Check the box declaring that you have full consent and permission to share the files with other parties.

7. Tap the ‘Share’ button to complete the sharing process.

Once a DICOM scan is shared, the recipient will receive an email notification, and the scan will appear in their 3DICOM account automatically. Either right away (for existing users) or after they create an account (for new users).

3. At the top right of your screen, tap on the ‘three-dots’ (as shown above) to open a drop-down.

7. Tap the ‘Share’ button to complete the sharing process.
